What shipping carriers do you use?
Designer Alley uses which ever carrier gets you, our customer,
the best rates and service. If you would like to request a specific carrier, or special shipping(three day, two day or overnight) please include in the notes part of your order. Order will then be charged actual shipping charges.
What do you charge for shipping?**:
Shipping charges are a flat rate based on order amount and are follows:

** Flat rate shipping applies to retail orders only, wholesale orders will be charged actual shipping unless other wise stated.
Do you ship Internationally?:
We currently ship to several countries outside the United States*, for a current list please refer to the drop down menu
as you check out. Currently we charge flat rate shipping within the United States to place an international order
please list your carrier of preference and the time frame you wish your items.
Please be aware that USPS does not give tracking numbers and once your package leaves our country we have no way of telling where
it might be, if it has left our warehouse and not been received by you during the time expected you will need to contact your customs
office for information. Customes can take a few days to a few weeks and we have no control over how long your package will be delayed.
Insurance can be purchased for your order and only orders with insurance will be replaced if lost or damaged in transit.
*Due to excess fraud international orders are now being held until the customers method of payment
has cleared. This will delay shipment of your item but will allow legitimate customers to still be able to order from Designer Alley LLC.
How quickly does my Retail order go out?:
Items ordered with a credit card:
Our goal is to have in stock fabrics and notions out within the next business day. (For example: items ordered on Monday will
go out Tuesday; Items ordered on Friday will go out Monday.)
If you have ordered an item that is on back order we will notify you as soon as we receive the order. You may choose to substitute another item or
you may cancel the back ordered items.Items on backorder take from one to four weeks before we can ship them out.
Orders paid with a check will go out as soon as the check has cleared, usually five to fourteen business days.
How quickly does my Wholesale order go out?:
Our goal is to have in stock fabrics and notions out within 2 to 4 business days.
If you have ordered an item that is on back order we will notify you as soon as we receive the order. You may choose to substitute another item or
you may cancel the back ordered items. Items on backorder take from one to four weeks before we can ship them out.
How can I Check on the Status of my Order?: To
check the status of an order, click the Your
Account link in the upper right corner of each page and login to
your account. Orders that are awaiting shipment are defined as
Pending while orders that have shipped are labeled Closed.
Once an order has been shipped, you can view the tracking number in
order to determine a delivery date from the shipping carrier. Please note USPS does not give a tracking
number if this is of concern please request your item be shipped via UPS.
